FORT BENNING, Ga. — Pvt. First Class Seth Robert Theron Orcutt graduated from U.S. Army basic training at Fort Benning, Ga., on Oct. 7.

Just before the graduation ceremony, Orcutt was promoted to E2 status.

Following graduation, he was stationed at Fort Eustic, Va., where he began training in aviation mechanics.

He is the son of Robert and Lisa Cranfield of Lorman and the grandson of Helen and Dale Whiteman of Vidalia and Willie and Edith Cranfield of Lorman.
