VIDALIA –Funeral Services for Mary Kathryn Deal, 82, of Vidalia, who died Saturday Nov. 6, 2010, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Laird Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ray Varnabo officiating.

Burial will follow at the Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday at Laird Funeral Home.

Mrs. Deal was born Feb. 18, 1928, in Richland, Iowa, the daughter of Frank and Hazel Schmidt Mayer.

Mrs. Deal was a member of Vidalia United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William T. “Billy” Deal; and her siblings.

Survivors include one daughter, Susan D. Graves, of Natchez; three sons, John William Deal of Zazoo City, James Franklin Deal, of Destrehan, and David Arlen Deal, of Benton; eight grandchildren, Brian Graves, Justin Graves, Jennifer Burrough, Valarie Hutchinson, Celeste Maunoir, Debbie Hamilton, Stephanie Nations and Leslie Craft; and 17 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Keith Graves, Carl Geenlee, Jerry Wayne Nations, Rex Archer, Newt Willis and Jim Boles.

Honorary pallbearer will be Jerry David.
