Come hold a cuddly puppy or kitten

This Saturday, the St. Mary Catholic Youth Organization will be sponsoring an open adoption day for the Natchez-Adams County Humane Society.
It will be at 613 Main St. in the St. Mary Family Life Center (formerly the Marketplace Café), from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. There will be many dogs, cats, puppies and kittens available for adoption who are looking for their loving forever homes. The shelter is overrun with animals and now would be a great time to find an early furry Christmas present for your children or to just go ahead and find a sweet companion for yourself.
The St. Mary CYO is doing many community service projects throughout the year in preparation for their summer trip to Madrid for World Youth Day. This particular Community Service project has been one that the group has really been looking forward to.
Animals are so valuable to our everyday lives and simply want nothing but have a good home and offer their love and companionship.
We really hope to see a lot of people come out and support the NACHS and give these deserving animals a home. I personally know that every single dog and cat that I have ever adopted at the Humane Society has always turned out to be the most amazing pet I have ever had. It is as if they know you have rescued them and they are so grateful!
Our CYO will be there all morning walking the dogs and playing with the cats and can assist anyone who would like to adopt a pet. We encourage everyone to please just come out and take a look!
