WOODVILLE — Services for Jessie B. Carter, 68, of Woodville, who died Friday, Nov. 5, 2010, at Field Memorial Hospital in Centreville, will be at noon Saturday at St. Luke No. 1 Baptist Church in Woodville.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home in Bude.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Ms. Carter was born Dec. 17, 1941, in Wilkinson County, the daughter of Charlie and Johnnie Gay Carter.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Naomi Carter Jones.

Survivors include one sister, Easter Bibbins of Woodville; four brothers, William Carter, Percy Lee Carter, both of Woodville, Charlie Tap Carter of Baton Rouge and Willie Williams of Gonzales, La.; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
