WATERPROOF — Services for Luie Vice Johnson, 100, of Waterproof, who died Friday, Nov. 5, 2010, at Riverland Medical Center in Ferriday, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Oakwood Baptist Church.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Ms. Johnson was born May 15, 1910, in Waterproof, the daughter of Oscar and Martha Williams Johnson.

She was preceded in death by one son, Joe Hatten and one daughter, Willie Mae Lewis.

Survivors include one son, Dee Hatten and wife, Beatrice, of Compton, Calif.; 13 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren.
