NATCHEZ — Services for Emma D. Ware Scott, 77, of Natchez, who died Thursday, Nov. 11, 2010, at Oxford Nursing Home in Hattiesburg, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at New Hope Baptist Church with the Rev. Stanley Searcy officiating.
Burial will follow at the Natchez National Cemetery under the direction of Webb Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Scott was born Nov. 26, 1932, the daughter of Abner Ware and Inez Jackson. She was employed by Cock of the Walk as a cook. She was retired.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Charles Ware and Lonnie Ware; and one sister, Eula Mae Ware.
Survivors include two sisters, Irma Burston and husband, Melvin, and Ruth Smith; two brothers, James Smith and wife, Shirley, all of Natchez and Percy Wilson and wife, Mamie Lee, of Houston, Texas; one daughter, Shannon White and husband, David, of Natchez; and two granddaughters, Leatrice Fakes and husband, James, and Lameica Hewing and husband, Purvis, of Vidalia.
Pallbearers will be James Smith, Lawrence Smith, David White, James Smith Jr., James Fakes and Keith Smith.
