NATCHEZ — Services for Oceola Wright, 84, of Natchez who died Thursday, Nov. 11, 2010, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at United Baptist Church with the Rev. Samuel Hunt officiating.
Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Bateaste Memorial Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Wright was born Sept. 21, 1926, the daughter of Lucius Mosby and Lucille Scott. She accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized. She was a member of United Baptist Church and served faithfully until her death.
Survivors include her companion, Willie Johnson; one son, Ralph Wright, both of Natchez; two granddaughters, Linda Thornton and husband, Oscar, of Atlanta and Keisha Campbell of Natchez; two grandsons, James Green and wife, Kimberly, and Kenyon Campbell, all of Natchez; one brother, Earl Mosby and wife, Lotta, of Chicago; three great-granddaughters, Jasmine Wright, Brianna Thornton and Nekeitha Abraham; three great-grandsons, James Edward Green III, Jacody Green and Aurelious Davis; one daughter-in-law, Arlinda Campbell of Natchez; three nieces, Daphne White of Mesquite, Texas, Marceline White and husband, Gary, of Natchez and Jacqueline Harris and husband, Samuel, of Theodore, Ala.; one nephew, Clarence White of Atlanta; and a number of other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Honorary pallbearers will be the Rev. Joseph Myles, Tommie L. Myles, Clifton Myles, Robert Myles, James Myles and Jeffery Shell.
