Funeral services for Henry Kevin Brooks, 43, of Jonesville, who died Nov. 23, 2010, in Jonesville, will be at 2 p.m., Saturday at First Baptist Church in Jonesville, with the Rev. Gary Norris officiating.

Burial will follow at Heard Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home in Jonesville.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Kevin was born on October 26, 1967, in Natchez, the son of Joyonne and H.P. Brooks, Jr.

He was a lifelong resident of Jonesville, a farmer and a member of First Baptist Church of Jonesville.

Kevin was a loving son, brother and friend. He was kindhearted, wonderful sense of humor and was a loyal friend. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father and his grandparents, Alma and H.P. Brooks Sr. and Georgia and Stanford Richardson.

Survivors include his mother; one brother, Kyle Brooks; a niece, Paige Brooks; a nephew, Devin Brooks and a special friend, Sherri Trisler.

Pallbearers will be Ron Riley, Roy Riley Jr., Stan Richardson , Mark Hamilton, A.B. York and Tom Williams.
