Services for John “Bill” Wilson Jr., 74, of Natchez, who died Saturday, Nov. 20, 2010, at Natchez Regional Medical Center will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at New Zion No. 1 Baptist Church in Natchez.

Burial will follow in Pine Hill Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will take place at the church from noon until service time.

Mr. Wilson was born Dec. 16, 1935, in Woodville, the son of John Sr .and Pearl McDonald Wilson.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Florestine Woods and one borther, Leroy Wilson.

Survivors include a loving and devoted wife of 42 years, Caleaner F. Wilson; one daughter, Brenda Smith and husband James of Natchez; three adopted daughters, Sholonda Wilson of Natchez and Shirley Ann Ford and Patricia Ford, both of Minnesota; two sons, Elton Ford and wife Themla of Jackson and Eugene Ford of Minnesota; two sisters, Esther Reason and husband Freeman and Rosemary Reason, both of Natchez; four brothers, Milton Wilson and wife Esebella of New Jersey, James Wilson, Robert Wilson and wife Ann and Mitchell Wilson, all of Natchez; 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two special nieces, Mildred Wilson and Brenda Wilson and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
