Merry Christmas from the Natchez Garden Club!

Christmas is already upon us and it is time to get in the spirit. It is a time for traditions with family and friends that only come around once a year.

The Natchez Garden Clubs Victorian Luncheon is right around the corner and what better way to get your season kicked off than this festive tradition at Magnolia Hall.

The luncheon is a wonderful buffet featuring foods that are completely prepared by the ladies of our garden club. For starters we have Magnolia Hall’s famous corn soup. The menu includes finger sandwiches like chicken salad and bacon and green onion, along with delicious pork loin. Along with all this enjoy onion soufflé, stuffed eggs, an assortment of dips and so much more.

To finish up this delightful meal there is an array of desserts like brownies, lemon squares and Magnolia Hall’s cocoons. There will also be a hot spiced tea, punch, and lemon water to finish of a fantastic meal.

In addition to this luncheon, on the back porch of Magnolia Hall there will be a soup and casserole sale. This is where you can pick up wonderful casseroles and soups, again prepared by our own ladies. What a great way to simplify the holiday season when those unexpected guests show up at your door!

We will be giving away door prizes during the luncheon, so be sure your name finds it way into the basket.

From 11:30-1 p.m. Thursday, you can come enjoy the meal in person.

However, if your job and time does not allow it we do have boxes of this delicious food to go.

Come one, come all, bosses treat your hard working employees, and join us for a great, fun time and get into the Christmas spirit!

This event is a fundraiser for benefitting the Preservation Society of Ellicott Hill. Tickets are $12 each and approximately 150 will be sold.

Tickets can be purchased at the Natchez Garden Club office by calling 601-443-9065 or by visiting Natchez Pilgrimage Tours in the visitors center.
