FERRIDAY — Services for Fahy E. Hodge Jr., 63, of Vidalia, who died Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2010, in Vidalia, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Young’s Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Wagoner officiating.
Burial will follow at Crowville Masonic Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home in Vidalia.
Mr. Hodge was born Nov. 17, 1947, in Delhi, La., the son of Fahy E. Hodge Sr. and Frances Louise Hodge.
Mr. Hodge was stationed in Germany during the Vietnam War while he served his country in the U.S. Army. He also served in the U.S. Army National Guard.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Marjorie Pollan Hodge; one daughter, Margie Michele McClure and husband, Albert “Junior”; one son, Christopher Everette Hodge Sr. and wife, Kathy, all of Vidalia; four grandchildren, Brandon Louis McClure, Miranda Fahy McClure, Kirstie Daniele Hodge and Christopher Everette Hodge Jr.; three sisters, Linda Childress and husband, Ronny, of Mangham, La., Connie Merrill and husband, Danny, of Ferriday and Ouida Ann Hodge Jerrell of Centreville, Ga.; five step-grandchildren and five step-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Bill Hughes, Clint Barnett, Dan Merrill, Frankie Rand, Glenn Childress, Greg Lee, Joey Merrill, Phillip Webber, Dusty Fulford and Tim Fuqua.
Honorary pallbearers will be Ronnie Hendricks, Joe Pahnka and Gordon “Pee Wee” Hughes Jr.
