VIDALIA — Services for Terry Mac Lindsey Sr., 61, of Vidalia, who died Sunday, Dec. 5, 2010, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. Ron Ledford, the Rev. Jack Middleton and the Rev. R.V. Mize officiating.
Burial will follow at Liberty Chapel Cemetery, near Dry Prong, La., under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home in Vidalia.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Friday at the church.
Mr. Lindsey was born Aug. 30, 1949, in Alexandria, La., the son of Mac and Blanche Lindsey. He was a retired driller and an active member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Terry served as soundman and guitarist at the church. He loved the Lord and his family and had a passion for fishing. He was a graduate of Vidalia High School.
Terry was a very kindhearted man and just an all around good guy who will be deeply missed and loved forever by his family and all that knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Gus Lindsey.
Survivors include his wife of 23 years, Angel Lindsey; one son, Mac Lindsey; two daughters, Rachel Lindsey and Miki Thompson, both of Vidalia; and two grandchildren, Lindsey and Tyler Thompson.
Pallbearers will be Todd Ainsworth, Steve Flemming, Jerry King, Randell Crooks, Ronnie Boles, Terry Sweeney, Jason Carter and Vernon Smith.
Honorary pallbearers will be bandmates, Aaron Ledford, Matt Henslee, Nathan Ledford, Robby King, Scott Johnese and Morgan O’Neal and Pat Tucker, Mike Tucker, Gary Brandon and Wade Garrett.
