FERRIDAY — Services for Allen Saul Warren, 65, of Long Beach, Calif., formerly of Ferriday, who died Monday, Dec. 6, 2010, at his residence, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. James Baptist Church on Skipper Drive in Ferriday, with Bishop Joel McIntyre officiating.

Burial will be at 10:15 a.m. Monday at the Natchez National Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Mr. Warren was born Feb. 12, 1945, in Ferriday, the son of Oliver and Lela Grant Warren. He was a U.S. Army veteran with a tour of duty in Vietnam.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Crockett Warren; one daughter, Shirley McIntyre, both of Long Beach; one son, Roger S. Warren of Stockton, Calif.; five sisters, Ollie Broussard, Dorothy Mason and Victoria Taylor, all of Ferriday, Lela Warren of Dallas and Alberta Womble of Inglewood, Calif.; and six grandchildren.
