FERRIDAY — A man injured in a Christmas Eve wreck died Friday from his injuries.

Kzarious Fletcher, 22, of Ferriday, died at Rapides Regional Medical Center.

The one-car accident sent Fletcher and two other men to the hospital.

Kristopher David Brown, 25, of Ferriday was the driving a 2007 Pontiac G6 when he reportedly lost control of the vehicle and exited the right side of the roadway. The car then struck a tree.

Louisiana State Police and Concordia Fire District No. 2 officials received an emergency call at 2:40 a.m.

Brown received moderate injuries and was transported first to Riverland Medical Center.

Passengers, Darren Brooks, 26, was also seriously injured; his current condition is unknown.

The accident occurred on Fisherman Drive near Ferriday. Brown was driving west.
