Natchez — The Natchez Garden Club will have its January business meeting at 11 a.m. Thursday at Natchez Coffee Company, 215 Franklin St.

The meeting will be followed by lunch and a program on winter floral arrangements, featuring Kitty Bray at 11:30 a.m.

The program will also be at the Natchez Coffee Company.

With bare branches and dried materials from the fall harvest, Bray will demonstrate economical ways to create arrangements for your home to enjoy or to share with others.

Bray is talented and has a great deal of experience in floral design. She has designed floral arrangements for weddings and receptions, private parties and events, as well as many Natchez Garden Club functions.

The chairman of this month’s program is Mrs. Joseph Frank; vice chairman is Mrs. Duncan McFarlane.

Hostesses are Ms. Betty Powers and Mrs. William D. Herrington.

Members and program participants are asked to bring personal hygiene supplies for the women and children’s shelter, as well as monetary donations for the Stew Pot. Lunch will cost $15 and reservations must be made by calling the Natchez Garden Club office at 601-443-9065 by Tuesday.
