FERRIDAY — A private family service will be at a later date for Evon Miller Corley, 86, of Ferriday, who died Saturday, Jan. 1, 2011, in Ferriday.
Comer Funeral Home in Ferriday is handling arrangements.
Corley was born Sept. 16, 1924, in Baton Rouge, the daughter of Louis M. Miller and Josephine D. Miller. She was a school bus driver and cafeteria worker in the Concordia Parish School System.
Survivors include her children David Corley and wife Betty of Smithdale, Jeanne Johnson of Vidalia, Ga., Roger Corley of Pueblo, Colo., Joe Corley and wife Nancy of Glendale, Ariz., and Jodie Kosino of Lakeland, Fla.; brother, Albert Miller of Baton Rouge; brother-in-law; H.L. Corley and his wife Meta of Ridgecrest; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
