NATCHEZ — Services for Isom Cameron, 93, of Natchez, who died Friday, Dec. 31, 2010, at Promise Rehab Hospital in Vidalia, will be at 11 a.m. today at Pleasant Green Baptist Church with the Rev. Jerry Johnson officiating.
Burial will follow at the Natchez National Cemetery under the direction of Webb Funeral Home.
Mr. Cameron was born May 23, 1917, in Ravinwood, La., the son of Isom Cameron and Francis Whitehead Cameron. He was employed by McGee Burkley Lumber Company. He was retired.
Mr. Cameron was a member of Pleasant Green Baptist Church where he served as a deacon.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Isom Cameron Jr. and Larry Cameron; five brothers; and one sister.
Survivors include his wife, Theresa Cameron; nine children, Pamela Johnson and husband, Weldon, Esther McNealy and husband, William, Gloria Calcote, Dr. Olivia Burkett, Pinkie Anise Bowman, Frances Clark, Acey Cameron and wife, Rose, Charles Cameron and Larry McQuarters; one sister, Olivia Bernard; and a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Lee Edward Brinkley, Samuel Brinkley Jr., Steve Jackson, Vernell Cade, Leonard Brinkley Jr. and Jaworski Davenport.
