NATCHEZ — Services for Winfred McGehee, 85, of Natchez, who died Saturday, Jan. 8, 2011, at Adams County Nursing Center, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Laird Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Lynn McRaney officiating.

Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from noon until service time Thursday at the funeral home.

Mr. McGehee was born June 26, 1925, in Franklin County, the son of Jack Hugh and Gillie Temple McGehee. He was a retired maintenance engineer at Natchez Regional Medical Center.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a number of siblings.

Survivors include three daughters, Judy Smith and husband, Billy, Diane Buckles and Candy McGehee, all of Natchez; one son, Tony McGehee and wife, Blanche, of Dothan, Ala.; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one brother, Hugh McGehee of Natchez; one sister, Annabelle Crappell of Morgan City, La.; and extended family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Russ Smith, Mike Buckles, Chase Buckles, Cal Gray, Junior McGehee and Gary McGehee.
