JONESVILLE — Services for Alice Maxine Wiley Smith, 77, of Jonesville, who died Saturday, Jan. 15, 2011, at Columns Nursing Home in Jonesville, will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the First Pentecostal Church of Jonesville with the Revs. Jack Knapp and Bruce Lofton officiating.

Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery in Manifest, under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home in Jonesville.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at the church.

Smith was born on Dec. 1, 1933, in Jonesville, the daughter of Clarence William Wiley and Lula Aslee Wiley. She was a resident of Jonesville, and a member of the First Pentecostal Church of Jonesville.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles W. Smith; both of her parents; one son, Monroe “Monty” Wayne Montpelier; two brothers, David Wiley and Thomas Wiley; and one sister, Clarice Tarpley.

Survivors include two grandchildren, Bryan Montpelier of Saratoga, N.Y., and Savannah Montpelier of Baton Rouge; four brothers, C.B. Wiley and his wife Gealean of Gonzalez, La., Max Wiley and his wife Sylvia of Marksville, La., James Wiley and his wife Sonok of Shreveport, La., and Paul Wiley of Ferriday; and four sisters, Bernice Sanders of Larto, La., Audrey Sanders and her husband Travis of Jonesville, Esther Fincher and her husband Jerry of Jonesville, and Norma Wiley of Arcadia, Mo.
