Krewe of Alpheus parade needs you

Build it and they will come!

Well, we are not going to build it, but we do want you to come.

The date and time has been set for the 20th Mystic Krewe of Alpheus parade. Help the krewe make this the best parade ever.

This year’s parade will kick off at 6 p.m. Feb. 26.

What we need now are participants with their floats, cars, bands or whatever they want to enter.

We have selected this year’s theme — “Been there, done that!”

If you have ever wanted to be in a parade, this is your chance.

If you have ever wanted to build a float and participate in a parade, this is your chance.

If you are in a car group and have wanted to show off your project, this is your chance.

The possibilities are endless, all you need to do is contact me, the parade chair at 601-334-0713, and let me know what you want to enter in the parade.

If you have a team that you want to show off, come on!

Anybody out there with a kazoo band? We want you too.

Church groups, scouting unites, groups that just want to be in a parade, this is your chance, come on.

John Goodrich is the parade chairman of the Mystic Krewe of Alpheus.
