FERRIDAY — Services for Sarah Edwards Crumb, 95, of Ferriday, who died Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2011, at Riverland Medical Center in Ferriday from injuries received from a house fire, will be at noon today at New Morning Star Baptist Church with the Rev. Danny Lewis officiating.

Burial will follow at the Ferriday Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time today at the church.

Mrs. Crumb was born April 5, 1915, in Monterey, the daughter of Butch and Creasie Walker Edwards. She was a homemaker and a member of New Morning Star Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Levier Crumb; one daughter, Irma Lee Pryor; her parents; and nine siblings.

Survivors include one daughter, Emmalene C. Broom of Ferriday; and 11 grandchildren, Willie Pryor Jr., Costa Pryor, Shelton W. Pryor, Grayland D. Pryor, Donald Pryor, Michael Pryor, Prince Broom Jr., Carol P. Smith, Sandra Gail Pryor, Kimberly Pryor and Zina Pryor.
