FERRIDAY — Services for Bernice Dunnam White, 91, of Ferriday, who died Sunday, Jan. 16, 2011, at Riverland Medical Center in Ferriday, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Mount Beulah Baptist Church with the Rev. Eugene Williams officiating.

Burial will follow at the Ferriday Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. White was born Sept. 20, 1919, in Frogmore, La., the daughter of Josh and Hattie Black Dunnam. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Veverly Long; one grandson, David Long; and one sister, Irene Langston.

Survivors include one brother, Dave Hawkins; five grandchildren, Kathy Long of Orlando, Fla., Theron Long of Del Ray Beach, Fla., Jerry Long of Ferriday, Larry Long of Mount Homes, Iowa and George Long of Monroe, La.; and 15 great-grandchildren.
