NATCHEZ — Services for Louis Butler, of Natchez, who died Friday, Jan. 21, 2011, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Zion Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church with the Rev. Birdon Mitchell officiating.

Burial will follow at the Natchez National Cemetery under the direction of Robert D. Mackel and Sons Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Thursday at the church.

Mr. Butler was the son of Louis Butler and Ella Mae Wallace Butler Smallwood.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Richard Smallwood, of Natchez; three sisters, Audrey Gladney of Bolton, Sandra Davis and husband, Glen, of Jackson and Connie Whitley of Natchez; one brother, Calvin Butler and wife, Aquetta; one uncle, C.P. Wallace and wife, Margaret, all of Natchez; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be friends of the family.
