FROGMORE — Services for Jesse Edward Green, 67, of Ferriday, who died Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2011, at Riverland Medical Center in Ferriday, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at St. James Baptist Church in Frogmore with the Rev. L.B. Oliver officiating.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Green was born Oct. 28, 1943, in Frogmore, the son of Willie and Luvenia Collins Green. He was a farmer.

Survivors include four sons, Kenneth Green, George Gipson, Jesse Green and wife, Jawanda, all of Ferriday, and Gregory Green and wife, Jamie, of Jonesville; three daughters, Alice Green, Bertha Taylor and Ramonda Green and companion, Calvin Smith, all of Ferriday; four brothers, Wess Green, Jerry L. Green, Ernest Green and twin, Lee Edward Green, all of Ferriday; two sisters, Ruby G. Wesley and Willie Mae Leonard and husband, David, all of Ferriday; 35 grandchildren; and 33 great-grandchildren.
