JONESVILLE — A Jonesville man was seriously injured Monday when he drove his motorcycle off the road.

The Louisiana State Police responded to the crash at approximately 3:30 p.m. on Louisiana 460 near U.S. 84 in LaSalle Parish.

Douglas W. Love, 57, was driving west on his 2006 Kawasaki motorcycle when he lost control, exited the right side of the road and crashed into an embankment, a state police press release says.

Love was transported to Rapides Regional Medical Center.

Routine toxicology tests are pending. The crash remains under investigation.
