FAYETTE — Services for Ruby Lee Johnson, 72, of Fayette, who died Friday, Jan. 28, 2011, at River Region Medical Center in Vicksburg, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Crown Point United Methodist Church in Fayette.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home in Bude.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Mrs. Johnson was born March 28, 1938, in Hamburg, the daughter of Samuel Fleming and Caroline Anderson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Ruby Nell Lawery; four sisters, Lucille F. O’Quinn, Nora F. O’Neal, May Ann O’Quinn and Helen Anderson; one brother, Albert Fleming; and one grandson, David D. Walker.

Survivors include two daughters, Irene Short and Verlena Johnson; eight sons, James E. Johnson, Jimmy Ray Johnson, Robert W. Johnson, Charles P. Johnson, Warren Johnson, William S. Johnson, Nathaniel Johnson and Dennis R. Johnson; three sisters, Rosie M. Anderson, Maybell Gray and Burnett Glasper; three brothers, James Fleming, Ray Anderson and David Fleming; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; special grandson, Joseph Fleming and wife, Tamekia; niece and caregiver, Letha Glass; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
