NATCHEZ — Services for Lillian Christine Watts, 88, of Natchez, who died Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2011, at Promise Hospital in Vidalia, will be at 11 a.m. today at Laird Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Carl Smith officiating.

Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Watts was born March 3, 1922, in Lincoln County, the daughter of George L. and Dink Pennington King. She was a member of Washington Baptist Church for more than 55 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Hood Watts Jr.

Survivors include one daughter, Sissie Stevenson and husband, Ronnie, of Chatham, La.; three sons, George Watts and wife, Frankie, of Crystal Springs, Donald Watts and wife, Sharan, of Little Rock, Ark., and Ronald Watts and wife, Vicki, of Natchez; seven grandchildren, Tonya Bryant, George Watts Jr., Lee Watts, Trissa McDowell, Traver Watts, Ron Watts and Madison Watts; seven great-grandchildren; and one sister, Allian Hubbard of Tyler, Texas.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Promise Hospital and Natchez Regional Medical Center for their loving care. Special thanks to Barry and Randy Tillman for their concern and care.

Pallbearers will be George Watts Jr., Ron Watts, Trevor Watts, Joe Bryant, Ervin Garrett and Don Stevenson.
