NATCHEZ — Services for Edward L. McDaniel, 76, of Natchez, who died Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2011, at his residence, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Morgantown Baptist Church with Dr. Edgar Wright officiating.

Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the church.

Mr. McDaniel was born Dec. 9, 1934, in Natchez, the son of Edward McDaniel and Bertha Entrekin McDaniel.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife, Joan Roberts McDaniel; and two brothers, Claude McDaniel and Jack McDaniel.

Survivors include three sons, Ronnie McDaniel, David McDaniel and Ricky McDaniel and wife, Angie; two daughters, Debbie Green and Karen Bauman; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two brothers, Jerry McDaniel and wife, Norma, and Bill McDaniel and wife, Peggy; two sisters, Margaret Harveston and husband, Lewis, and Sue Cockerham and husband, James; three sisters-in-law, Jean McDaniel, Irma McFaddan and Joane Roberts; and a number of nieces and nephews.
