BROOKHAVEN — Services for Walter Scott Hartzog, 65, of Natchez, who died Thursday, Feb. 3, 2011, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be at noon Saturday at Riverwood Family Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home.

Burial will follow at Masonic Cemetery in Monticello under the direction of Riverwood Funeral Home in Brookhaven.

There will be a memorial service in Natchez at a later date.

Mr. Hartzog was born June 19, 1945, in Pascagoula, the son of Willie and Genevieve Lee Hartzog. He was a retired food and beverage director.

Mr. Hartzog was Baptist.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Richard Barry Hartzog.

Survivors include one daughter, Kimberly Hartzog of Winter Garden, Fla.; one sister, Johnnie Hartzog Lea and husband, Teunnison of Brookhaven; one grandchild, Kaitlin Sophia Ramos of Winter Garden; three aunts, Louise Caughman, Elaine Boyd and Vernell Daniels, all of Monticello; one uncle, Hiram Hartzog of Silver Creek; three nephews; Doug Lea and wife, Christie, of Byram, Brad Lea and wife, Megan, of Biloxi and Greg Lea and wife, Christy, of Meridian; and a number of great-nephews, nieces and cousins.
