LORMAN — Services for Georgia Lee “Bay” Patterson, 86, of Lorman, who died Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2011, at Claiborne County Hospital, were Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2011, at Fellowship Baptist Church in Lorman.

Burial followed at the church cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home in Bude.

Mrs. Patterson was born Aug. 20, 1924, in Jefferson County, the daughter of Walter Montgomery and Annie Lee Smith. She was a member of Heroines of Jericho Court No. 243.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, James Howard Scott; and one sister, Mildred Smith Coleman.

Survivors include three loving granddaughters, Ella D. Keys, DeWanda D. Patten and Sharon L. Patten; eight great-grandchildren, Ka’Nitcha Patten, Kerisha Patten, Shaniqua Patten, DeShawn Patten, Rachel Patten, TaNesha James, Tilya Gaines and Tyla Gaines; three nieces, Shirley Coleman Mitchell, Vera Coleman McPherson and Sharmaine Michele McCoy; and a number of other relatives and friends.
