WOODVILLE — Services for James Lee Holloman, 56, of Natchez, who died Thursday, Feb. 10, 2011, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be at 1 p.m. today at Embrew Baptist Church in Woodville.
Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home in Bude.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time today at the church.
Mr. Holloman was born Sept. 16, 1954, in Natchez, the son of C.J. Carter and Louisa “Liza” Ellison and adopted son of Leonard and Hattie Holloman.
He was preceded in death by his father; his adopted parents; and three sisters, Essie Myles, Willie Bibbins and Nancy Johnson.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Jamison; two daughters, Jenna and Jessie Simpson-Holloman, all of Queens, N.Y.; his mother of Natchez; six sisters, Annie Lee Groom and Mary Scott, both of Woodville, Debra Holloman of Houston, Texas, Stacie Ellison Williams and husband, Keith, and Jennifer Ellison, all of Natchez, and Linda Hayes of St. Francisville, La.; eight brothers, Leonard Holloman and wife, Beverly, of Woodville, Donnie Davis and wife, Felicia, of Natchez, Donavan Carter, Elvin J. Carter, Charlie J. Carter, Lovell Carter, Jimmie Dell Carter and Earvin Carter, all of Woodville.
