NATCHEZ — Residents with full hearts and no dinner plans can score a chicken dinner and help a local family in one stop tonight.

The Corner Bar will host a fundraiser from 5 to 7 p.m. for the family of Bob Foley, a father of three young children who was diagnosed last month with terminal cancer.

The dinners include barbecue chicken, baked beans, potato salad, bread and dessert. The cost is a minimum donation of $8 per meal.

All proceeds from the food will go to the family, to whom Corner Bar is also donating 20 percent of today’s bar sales.

Tickets are for sale at the Corner Bar and the Under-the-Hill Saloon. Take-out plates will be available.

Foley, 49, is the husband of Jennifer Thompson Foley and father of Cameron, 8, Madeline, 6, and Dylan, 1.
