NATCHEZ — Services for Martha Sue “Babae” Blanton Long, 58, of Natchez, who died Friday, Feb. 11, 2011, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Bright Star Baptist Church with the Rev. Tracy Cusic officiating.

Burial will follow at Wilderness Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Webb Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Long was born Dec. 18, 1952, in Natchez, the daughter of Thelma Blanton and Eugene Blanton. She was a member of Bright Star Baptist Church and a member of the Ladies of Bright Star. She was retired.

Mrs. Long enjoyed reading, attending church and spending time with her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Long and her parents.

Survivors include four children, Dewayne Blanton, Keesha Smith, Henry Smith and wife, Stacy, and Eric Smith; and special daughter, Lavatrice Smith.
