FAYETTE — Services for Viola Chamberlin, 97, of Fayette, who died Monday, Feb. 14, 2011, at Jefferson County Nursing Home, will be at noon Saturday at Rose Hill No. 2 Missionary Baptist Church in Fayette with the Rev. James Beverly officiating.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Spencer Funeral Home in Fayette.

Visitation will be from 2 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 11 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Mrs. Chamberlin was born Oct. 15, 1913, in Jefferson County, the daughter of Charlotte Perryman and Fred Council. She was Baptist.

Mrs. Chamberlin was the oldest aunt of the Perryman, Frye and Smith families. She lived a long, blessed life for 97 years.
