NATCHEZ — Services for Betty Sue Alford Moore, 76, of Natchez, who died Monday, Feb. 21, 2011, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be at 2 p.m. today at Laird Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Glenn Harrigill officiating.

Burial will follow at Taylor Family Cemetery in Natchez under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Moore was born May 19, 1934, in Glen Allan, the daughter of Curtis Abney and Weenona Christinberry Abney.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, H.L. Alford and Fred Moore; and two sisters.

Survivors include two daughters, Shirley Geoghegan and husband, Bobby, of Natchez and Linda Geoghegan and husband, Billy, of Lake St. John; eight grandchildren, Martin Geoghegan and wife, Jana, Brabston Geoghegan, Lindsey Harveston and husband, Lew, Patrick Geoghegan and wife, Courtney, Justin Geoghegan, Christopher Geoghegan, Lauren Geoghegan and Brent Geoghegan; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Faye Leger and husband, Gerald, of Brookhaven and Patsy Bishop and husband, Tommy, of Vicksburg; and two brothers, Robert Steele of Alexandria, La., and James Edward Abney and wife, Carlos, of Vicksburg.

Pallbearers will be Christopher Geoghegan, Martin Geoghegan, Patrick Geoghegan, Justin Geoghegan, Brent Geoghegan, Brabston Geoghegan and Lew Harveston.
