NATCHEZ — Services for Eula Wilson Scott, 63, of Natchez, who died Friday, Feb. 25, 2011, at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at New Beginnings Baptist Church.
Burial will follow at Pine Hill Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home in Bude.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Ms. Scott was born April 9, 1947, in Natchez, the daughter of Robert “Bob” Blanton and Exlenia “Sue” Wilson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Mattie McKnight and Ida Ward; two brothers, Leon Johnson and Phillip Lee Johnson; and one grandson, Edwin Jerell.
Survivors include six loving children, Deborah Debarros and husband, Gastao, Tyron Wilson and wife, Linda, Kilpatrick Wilson and wife, Floria, Fontella Brown and husband, Ronald, Derick Wilson and wife, Kayla, and Cedric Scott and wife, Indira; five siblings, Edward Johnson and wife, Rena, Roosevelt Johnson and wife, Ann, Eugene Bruce and wife, Tina, Rosemary Freeman and husband, Joe, and Gwendolyn Watson and husband, Marvin; special friend, Lavera Rankin; special companion, Ricky McGruder; 13 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Calvin Butler, Rayne Jordan, DeWayne Anderson, Mark Douglas, Adolph Hayes and Raymond Wiley.
