Hello, I’m Don Malin, veteran outreach specialist out of Jackson. I wanted to let all combat veterans know about the free counseling service to all combat veterans.

Many veterans leave the combat zone but the combat zone doesn’t leave them. The memories and experiences of Iraq and Afghanistan as well as Vietnam, Korea or World War II, continue to influence veterans to such an extent that it effects their marriages, careers and friendships. We want to help.

Twice a month, at noon on the first and third Friday of the month, one of our counselors comes to Natchez and meets with veterans at 115 South Pearl St. This is the Veteran Service Officers office.

We ask that if you are having problems please come to the meeting.
