NATCHEZ — The Natchez Police Department made three arrests Thursday and Friday connected to house burglaries.
Two men, Devon Green and Jamie Hollins, were charged Thursday with acting in concert with one another in recent burglaries of houses on Chickasaw Street and Cherokee Street, Natchez Police Chief Mike Mullins said.
The back door was kicked in Feb. 11 of a house on the 300 block of Chickasaw Street, and the suspects allegedly stole a TV, money and jewelry, Mullins said.
The back door was also kicked in March 10 on a house in the 300 block of Cherokee Street, where a TV and Playstation video game console were stolen.
Green, 24, 315 Cherokee St., and Hollins, 20, 125 John Glenn Ave., were each arrested at 6 p.m. for two charges of burglary of a dwelling. Neither suspect has received a bond Mullins said Friday.
In an unrelated burglary arrest, Blarington Ashley, 41, 53 Cedarhurst Apartments, was arrested at 9:45 a.m. Friday for burglarizing a residence at 504 Cedarhurst Apartments. Ashley allegedly stole a Playstation and a 65-inch TV, Mullins said.
Mullins said police recovered the TV.
Mullins said the investigation of the burglaries is ongoing.
