Shelia Young and Marvin Griffin announce the engagement of their daughter, Honda Griffin to J.W. Hall Jr., son of J.W. and Brenda Hall, all of Natchez.

The bride-to-be is a 2004 graduate of Natchez High School and a graduate of Copiah-Lincoln Community College in Natchez. She is employed by Isle of Capri Casino in Natchez.

She is the granddaughter of Janie B. Griffin and the late Woodrow Griffin of Natchez and the late Mr. and Mrs. Archie Young of Chicago.

The groom-to-be is a 2000 graduate of Natchez High School and a graduate of Hinds Community College in Jackson. He is employed by Performance Car Dealership in Ferriday.

He is the grandson of Willie Mae Harris and Estelle Frye Shorts, both of Natchez.

The wedding will be at 5 p.m., Saturday, May 14, 2011, at D.W. Howard Multipurpose Building in Natchez. A reception will follow.
