JONESVILLE — Services for Johnny Arnold LaCroix, 62, of Jonesville, who died Saturday, April 9, 2011, in Jonesville, will be at 10 a.m. today at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Jonesville with the Rev. Clyde Grammon, the Rev. Perry Gardner and the Rev. Craig James officiating.
Burial will follow at Heard Cemetery in Manifest, La., under the direction of Comer Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Mr. LaCroix was born Aug. 27, 1948, in Gilbert, La., the son of Bill and Betty E. LaCroix. He was a retired Catahoula Corrections officer.
Mr. LaCroix was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Debra B. LaCroix; three daughters, Autumn Pecanty and husband, Zane, Tina Barnes and husband, Mike, all of Jonesville, and Traci LaCroix of Ridgecrest; two brothers, Jim Arnold of California and Bill Arnold of Gilbert; one sister, Louann Cole of Port Arthur, Texas; five grandchildren, Rachel Matthews, Jessi Cockerham, Ashley LaCroix, Kolton Pecanty and John Tyler Pecanty; one great-grandchild, Nathan Matthews; and four special friends, Barbara LaCroix, Madie Dye, Hazel Cockerham and Dovie Trisler.
Pallbearers will be Kyle Neal, Nash Neal, Larry LaCroix, Matthew Brazell, David Lucas, Russell Lippman and James LaCroix.
Honorary pallbearers will be Catahoula Correctional employees, Jacob Matthews, Scott Brazell and David Neal.
