FERRIDAY — Services for Pamela Jean Scott, 39, of Ferriday, who died Monday, April 11, 2011, at Riverland Medical Center in Ferriday, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at New Morning Star Baptist Church with the Rev. Danny Lewis officiating.

Burial will follow at the Ferriday Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Miss Scott was born Dec. 20, 1971, in Natchez, the daughter of Robert Banks and Erma Lee Scott.

She was a volunteer for the Senior Citizens Council of Aging in Ferriday.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Survivors include her mother of Albany, N.Y.; three brothers, Lionel Scott and wife, Twyla, of Shreveport, La., Taurus Banks of Ferriday and David Scott of New Orleans; two sisters, Darlene White and husband, Joseph, of Ferriday and Kim Kelly and husband, Marlon, of Missouri City, Texas; maternal grandmother, Johnnie L. Scott of Ferriday; and a number of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a number of friends.
