NATCHEZ — Graveside services for Dorothy Smith Leggett, 80, of Natchez, who died Friday, April 15, 2011, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be at 2 p.m. today at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Paul Southerland officiating.

Burial will follow under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Leggett was born Nov. 28, 1930, in Vicksburg, the daughter of Fred Alexander McGuire and Gena Mae Jackson McGuire. She was preceded in death by her parents and two husbands, Walter L. Smith and Willie G. Leggett.

Survivors include two sons, Walter Lee Smith Jr. and wife Shirley of Helena, Ark., and Phillip Eugene Smith and wife Lisa of Ferriday; one daughter, Patricia (Patsy) Anne Smith Galler and Darryl Wilkinson, both of Natchez; six grandchildren, Ryan Galler, Lance Galler, Ashli Richardson, Alanna McCormick, Brian Cavin and Stacy Love; and a number of great-grandchildren; two brothers, Fred McGuire and wife Shelvie of Natchez and Bobby McGuire of Arkansas; and one sister, Penny McCall and husband Dan of Natchez.

Pallbearers will be members of the family.
