Darryl and Victoria Bassett and Charles McMorris, all of Natchez announce the engagement of their daughter, Kesondra Lacole Lewis to Jessie Melvin Branch Jr., son of Melvin and Bernice Branch of Canton.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Natchez High School and a graduate of Jackson State University and is currently pursuing a master’s degree at Jackson State. She is employed by Hinds County School System.

She is the granddaughter of Walter and Martha Green of Natchez and Joseph and Dorothy Thompson of Sibley.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Canton High School and a graduate of Holmes Community College where he completed his trade as a welder. He is currently attending Holmes Community College and is employed by the City of Canton.

The wedding will be at 4 p.m., Saturday, April 23, 2011, at New Hope The Vision Center in Natchez. A reception will follow at the Natchez Convention Center.
