Willie and Carolyn Walton announce the engagement of their daughter, Ka’Shiris K. Walton to Vorice Ramon Perryman, son of Ray and Cynthia Perryman, all of Fayette.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Jefferson County High School in Fayette and a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg. She is employed by the Mississippi Department of Health as a registered nurse.

She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Willie Lee and the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Walton Sr.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Natchez High School and also a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg. He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in counseling at Liberty University. He is employed at Region 8 Mental Health as a case manager.

He is the grandson of Mrs. Doris White and the late Eugene and Laura White of Fayette and the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Perryman Sr.

A private wedding will be Saturday, April 23, 2011.

The couple has planned a wedding trip to the Bahamas and Key West, Fla.
