Laura Carter and Dannie Carter of Natchez announce the engagement of their daughter, Danielle Carter to Mark Williams, son of Rick and Laura Williams of Holly Springs.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Adams County Christian School in Natchez and a graduate of Mississippi State University in Starkville. She is employed by David Yurman in Atlanta.

She is the granddaughter of Morris and Annie Bumgardner and Dannie Jr. “Dutch” and June Carter, all of Natchez.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Marshall Academy in Holly Springs and also a graduate of Mississippi State University in Starkville. He is employed by Georgia Pacific in Atlanta.

He is the grandson of Herb and Jean Simmons of Senatobia and Bob and Ozzie Lee Williams of Holly Springs.

The wedding will be at 6 p.m., Saturday, May 21, 2011, at Longwood in Natchez. A reception will follow.
