Sherry A. Davis and the Rev. Charles “Frank” R. Carradine, both of Fayette, announce their engagement and upcoming marriage.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of the Rev. Issac and Theresa Henderson and Retha Davis and the late Cornelious Davis.

She is a 1981 graduate of Jefferson County High School, in Fayette, and a graduate of Alcorn State University. She is employed by Alcorn State University as an administrative assistant.

The groom-to-be is also a 1981 graduate of Jefferson County High School and attended college in California and Utah. He is employed by Southwest Mississippi Power Electric Association as a lineman.

He is the son of the late Wesley Snell and the late Jessie Mae Carradine.

The wedding will be at 1 p.m., Saturday, April 30, 2011, at East Mount Olive Baptist Church in Red Lick. A reception will follow at church fellowship hall.
