NATCHEZ – Services for Diana Thompson Davis, 53, of Bossier City, La., who died Monday, April 25, 2011, at LSU Medical Center in Shreveport, La., will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at New Beginnings Baptist Church with the Rev. Melvin White officiating.

Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery under the direction of Bateaste Memorial Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Ms. Davis was born Oct. 12, 1957, in Natchez, the daughter of Albert and Lula Mae Thompson.

Ms. Davis was preceded in death by her father.

Survivors include her mother; three daughters, Jimika Davis of Natchez, Diane Jimelle Davis Washington and husband, Cedric, of Seattle, Wash., and Muriel Davis of Bossier City; one son, Merle Davis of Bossier City; three grandchildren, Jamerial Davis of Seattle, JaKeisia Minor of Vicksburg and Cedric Washington Jr. of Seattle; four brothers, Johnnie Lee Moore and wife, Pamela, of Novi, Mich., Albert J. Thompson of Natchez, Clyde Thompson and wife, Robin, of Falls Church, Va., and George Thompson and wife, Patricia, of Jackson; three sisters, Frances Bailey and husband, Charles, and Annette Anderson, all of Natchez, and Wanda Viverette of Jackson; and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and close friends.
