Little goat ropers were everywhere Friday night as the Adams County Sheriff’s Department rodeo came out of the gate with a bang.

The rodeo featured a cowboy dance, petting zoo, children’s calf scramble and other events for the public to enjoy. Wild west festivities continue tonight with pre-rodeo events at 7 p.m. and the rodeo at 8. Admission is $12 for adults.

Funds raised will go to the sheriff’s department.
