Mr. and Mrs. David Hobson Marchbanks of Vidalia announce the engagement of their daughter, Meghan Laurel, to Steven Thomas Bush, son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Steven Bush of Natchez.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Adams County Christian School and a graduate of the University of Louisiana at Monroe in Monroe, La. She is employed by Medicomp as a certified occupational therapy assistant at North Mississippi Medical Center in Eupora.

She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.R. “Buck” Denny of Vidalia and Mrs. Bettye Marchbanks and the late Mr. John Marchbanks of Natchez.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Cathedral High School in Natchez and a graduate of Mississippi State University in Starkville. He is employed by Mossy Oak Productions as a field producer.

He is the grandson of Mrs. Doris Bush and the late Mr. Norvell Bush and the late Mr. and Mrs. Pat Burns Sr. of Natchez.

The wedding will be at 6 p.m., Saturday, June 11, 2011, at First Baptist Church in Vidalia. A reception will follow at the Natchez Community Center.
