NATCHEZ — Graveside services for Edith Pauline Landry, 84, of Natchez, who died Monday, May 16, 2011, at Adams County Nursing Home, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Natchez City Cemetery with her nephew, the Rev. Gary Hanberry officiating.
Burial will follow under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Ms. Landry was born Sept. 18, 1926, in Ponchatoula, La., the daughter of Leo T. Landry and Virginia Landry. She was employed as a lab technician and proudly served her country in the U.S. Air Force.
She was preceded by her parents; one son, Paul Bernard Humpherys; and one sister, Doris Hanberry.
Survivors include one brother, Leo Landry and wife, Barbara, of Brandon; one sister, Frances Nosser of Natchez; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be nephews, John Nosser, Joe Nosser, Reggie Hanberry, Joel Hanberry and Tommy Landry.
